His leadership which the personel that work in the Homicide division are used to his style, and with the Opperation Phoenix they have to get used to the leadership style of Kurt Wilson, because Kurt, is in dicussion all the time with San Bernardino's Chief of Police, if there is a Homicide in the area that Phoenix is wroking to clean up, then Kurt is talking with those Detectives, and their Supervisors. In fact it is the Supervisors job to take the heat that Kurt might be placing onto their backsides, and placing that heat onto his backside. then he in turn works the heat down to the Detectives that are working teh chase to come up with a better more sound way to solve the case. But it is that chain of Command that needs to be followed either UP or DOWN all the time, or the department doesn't have leadership!! Consequently that is what might have started to send Rialto onto it's demise in some ways. (Not to bring up Rialto Police or Rialto City at a time like this!). They might not have followed the chain of command at times and that was what might have caused Rialto to fall in some ways as of late. See, the person or Sergeant that is being punished for what ever childish reason that the Chief has, because that is what it appears to be a childish reason!! But The Chief got his Tail Feathers Bruised some how by this Sergeant, and he knows that this Sergeant is the best and works the best in Homicide, so moving him under the pretence that it is a diciplinary issue is all a bunch of childish reasoning.
It is as if the Chief is telling this Sergeant that he can no longer have the Super Friends as his play toys, only the chief can play with them. So, I say Chief, Swallow some Pride man, Lick those wounds and allow this man to supervise the people that he knows and even does the best with. Allow him to supervise the Homicide Team!! He will make you look good!! by solving a few of those homicides that you want solved!!
After all if he is the best Homicide Serceant that you have then so be it!! Allow him to do what he wants. to be that Homicide Detective......

Sergeant renews transfer defiance
SAN BERNARDINO - Monday in Judge Bob Krug's courtroom may look a lot like last Monday.
The attorney for a leading homicide detective in the San Bernardino Police Department who was transferred to another unit is asking that the San Bernardino Superior Court judge reconsider his decision to deny the detective's reinstatement.
Detective Sgt. Michael Desrochers was transferred from his position as sergeant in charge of homicide to the robbery unit on June 23. He says it is retaliation for filing a grievance against his supervisors, including Police Chief Michael Billdt, according to court records.
Billdt replied in court papers that Desrochers' transfer was based on job performance. Billdt said he has lost confidence in Desrochers' ability to lead the homicide squad.
Either way, the transfer should be stopped, said Desrochers' attorney Robert Krause of the Newport Beach-based law firm Castle, Petersen, & Krause LLP.
On Friday, Krause reapplied for a temporary restraining order to stop Desrochers' transfer because he believes the court is obligated to reinstate Desrochers. The reinstatement would not "determine the merits of the controversy" but merely "maintains the status quo," Krause said in court filings.
James Odlum, attorney for the city of San Bernardino, the Police Department, Billdt and Assistant Chief Frank Mankin, disagrees with Krause's assertion. Odlum, of the law firm Mundell, Odlum & Haws LLP in San Bernardino, said the status quo changed when Desrochers was transferred on June 23.
"The requested TRO (temporary restraining order) would change, not maintain, the status quo," Odlum wrote
in court filings.
Krause scoffed at that reasoning.
"If you follow that line of logic, you should do something real bad, real fast so it becomes status quo," he said.
Odlum argued further against reinstating Desrochers, saying it "would amount to unwarranted interference by one branch of government in another."
In addition, Krause wants the judge to reconsider his decision because he said Billdt and the Police Department violated the terms of the government code that protects public-safety officers. Desrochers did not see several memoranda drafted by his supervisors on June 21 and 23 until Monday's court date, which violates government code, Krause said.
The memos contained "adverse comments, which were used as a basis for transferring Sergeant Desrochers," reads Krause's filings.
"I was never given the opportunity to read, or comment on these documents," Desrochers wrote in a supplemental declaration filed Friday.
Judge Krug on Monday is expected to consider opinions from each attorney about who has jurisdiction over the dispute.
Both attorneys in their filings Friday agreed that the Superior Court of should decide the dispute.
