Once that man pulled out the gun and fired the round from the 38 Caliber handgun was asking to have shots fired towards him.
I really feel for the Police Officers that were forced to have taken a life today. When they swear to uphold all the Laws of the State and City, they know in the back of their mind that there is a chance that they might have to use deadly force. In the total 18 years that I have been around Law Enforcement I have been around a great deal of shootings not only the offerings at the hand of a bad guy but the forced Offerings of a Police Officer. The Taking of a life by a Police Officer is something that will live with them for the rest of their live and will haunt their dreams for the first year or two after the Shooting has taken place. Their views on Shootings will have a different Point of view, because they have lived it and it is not an easy bridge to cross.
So My Thoughts and Prayers go out to the Officers that were involved in the shooting and were forced to take an action that they didn't want to take, but were forced to take. Potentially in front of Family and Friends. God Bless those Officers and What they were forced to and participate in. God Bless You, The Police Department and the County for taking such a good Officer Involved Shooting Report!!

Suspect dies after gunfight with Rialto police
Stephen Wall, Staff Writer Bernardino County Sun
A 20-year-old Rialto man wounded in a gunfight with police has died, officials said Friday.
Two officers with the Rialto Police Department's Multiple Enforcement Team attempted to stop the man, whose name has not been released, as he left a motel in Colton at about 4 p.m. Thursday.
The man, in a silver Mitsubishi Gallant, fled from police. After turning north on Wildrose Avenue, he jumped out of the passenger side, leaving a woman, a boy and baby girl inside, said Rialto police Capt. Tony Farrar.
The officers gave chase on foot. Two additional officers arrived in a patrol car moments later.
The man pulled out a 38-caliber handgun and fired a round at the pursuing officers, who were about 20 or 30 feet away, Farrar said.
The officers returned fire, striking the man multiple times.
Officers then began performing CPR on the man, who was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. He was pronounced dead at 4:58 p.m., coroner's officials said.
Farrar said he didn't know the relationship between the man and the others in the car.
The woman, who looked to be in her 30s, was questioned and released, he said.
The boy, who appeared to be 14 or 15, was found to be a runaway and was turned over to authorities. The baby was released to a grandparent, Farrar said.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department will conduct an investigation into the shooting. The Rialto Police Department will perform its own internal probe, Farrar said.
