With a Nine Month Upgrade you would hope that they get the Baseball Field all done up right, and the little league people will be happy. I would like to take the grand tour when it is all done, this is a great thing that is taken place in Rialto, and if it takes Nine Months for a great thing such as a park to be redeveloped with new equipment, then that is a really good thing for the community. I cannot wait to see the finished product.

Rialto Park closes for 9-month upgrade

RIALTO - Rialto Park is scheduled to remain closed for the next nine months while workers complete a $2.5 million renovation project on the 15-acre park, Park Director Larry Thornburg said. The renovation, approved by the City Council last month, is the most extensive in the history of the city's park system. Rialto Park sits on the southeast corner of Riverside and San Bernardino avenues. Funded through a combination of Community Development Block Grants, state bonds and mandated contributions from local developers, the work includes new sidewalks, watering systems and an outdoor amphitheater for concerts and plays.
