InTime Solutions Gets Glowing Review from San Bernardino Police Department

BURNABY, British Columbia, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The San Bernardino Police Department, which provides law enforcement services to over 200,000 residents in Southern California has successfully implemented InTime's Enterprise Scheduling Solution to manage the scheduling and deployment of over 350 sworn officers.

According to Michael Eckley, San Bernardino Police Department's Public Safety Systems Manager, "We have had a very positive experience working with InTime in the past. They understand our operational needs and that is reflected in their product. InTime delivered a product that has exceeded our expectations and worked with us to deliver it according to our schedule. The support has been fantastic as well."

For San Bernardino Police Department, the upgrade from InTime's earlier version has not only provided enhanced functionality such as easier schedule building, but the underlying system architecture allows for easy integration with other systems.

"We are pleased to receive continuing validation that our next generation product clearly meets the needs of our customers," commented Harry Dollard, InTime's President. "We look forward to building our relationship with San Bernardino."

BS Ranch Perspective:

I wonder what it is really like to be a police officer these days. I used to Write every thing down on a log, when we started and kept our daily logs. Then we graduated to the computer taking care of that but we had an MDT (Mobil Data Terminal) in the car to tell us where the call was that we were going to. They worked via, our radio frequency, and now they have a MDC (Mobil Data Computer) that can in some cases be taken out of the car and the reports and everything done on the MDC, but Rialto's have not worked the way that they have wanted them to, I guess that none of them really do. Santa Ana had a System where they Issued everyone a MDC to take home, they used their MDC to write reports and well they did everything on the MDC!! However now they went to a different company and it is all changed now they don't have an issued computer yet they want their reports to be typed by a computer, still and they have computers that the employee can use to type reports on.

So nothing works like they plan. I just hope that San Bernardino's Computer System works as they planned it would!!
