I wonder when the President, Congress, and the House of Representatives are going to wake up to this mad man's methods of keeping us out of a Depression!! Well I have news for you, we have been in that said depression, only that it has been masked with the printing of money, or added serial numbers for bills that don't even exist, but on a federal banking computer!!

Our Federal Government was made with the idea that Businesses, and Banks will fail, once they don't produce a profit! By Saving General Motor's all they did was made the Auto Industry part of our Federal Government!! Ford was the smartest of all the Auto Companies in the United States by not taking the hand outs from Obama's Government!

Seems that this allowed Obama to dictate who was going to be the C.E.O. of General Motor's and he took that dictation to heart!!

He liked being able to run our Country in the same manner! Obama wants the Government to fail, as soon as the country is bankrupt I bet you a million dollars that Obama has a plan already written down. One that calls for us, the United States of America to become a Marxist Government! That is right We will not be known as the United States of America any longer. We will be known as the United Socialist States of America!!

When will Congress figure out how to cut the budget, and not simply add more taxes to raise what ever cushy thing that they want the government to purchase for people.. Take this Obama Care Bill that has been shoved down our Neck!!

The fact that this bill is nowhere near close to being paid for, yet they still are trying to find the magic money train to pay fund this bill!!

I predict that the Federal Government will have many more of these shut down scenario's because they cannot afford this bill!!

Really makes me sick.. the talk of closing the federal government, or "shutting it down" all to try to get congress or the President to budge on the budget! Still makes me sick!!

Even with the unemployment and foreclosures, the Inland Empire is still a largely commuter based community and demand for cars should remain consistent. Southern California is unlikely to abandon its freeways and opt for mass transit commuter trains in any significant way. What we are seeing is a shift in the types of cars on the roads, more hybrids and soon many EVs will be on the roads, like the Nissan Leaf.

Nothing new. This has been the presumption in the California Public Records Act since its passage in 1968; the county was already subject to the presumption.

Richardo Barajas was a good person he would never kill a human being. He was not shot in the store he was shot out side the store when he was trying to get away from the store clerk with the gun. His family is still trying to get the survailence video to prove he was not shot in the store. The store owner guned him down in cold blood. The clerk should be charged with murder. Murder of a young man with his life a head of him that unfortunatly made a mistake that night.

I am glad you say that! I wondered why the police were being so dismissive about it just because the bodies were found near the plantation. It seems like they could have been drug-related homicides, maybe hikers who stumbled across the site. Somebody claiming to know the hikers posted on a forum about the wildfires, saying that one of the backpackers was her best friend and that he never did drugs. As a resident very close to where the the building/s is planned, I have no problem at all with it. In fact, my worst fear was that someday they would build Low Income Apts.on the property.

I understand Johnson/Ace Harware will suffer even further, but the days of the "mom 'n' pop" stores are over.

WalMart & Lowe's have my support. I have no idea as to what the two restaurants will be.......hopefully something like a Denny's or other family eating establishment.

It has been over a month and STILL NO PARDON!! If there was anyone in the system that needed a pardon it was these men sitting in Solitary Confinment, becuase they cannot, for the sake of their life, go into general Population to get any recreational excersize or anything of that nature. IF they went into General Population (a population that is approx. almost 90% Illegal Immigrants They would be killed) Becuase they are Border Patrol!

So, for a minor infraction of a rule that states that they were supposed to fill out a form that indicated that they discharged their weapon should have been handled by their supervisor, and their Union, to what my agency used to call "Days on the Beach", because you are relived of duty with no pay, for a number of days as punishment, not 15 years in Jail.

What is going on here is sending a message to the rest fo the Border patrol Agents, that says, Drug Smuggling will be overlooked as legal, and the war on drugs is over!! let them cross!!

Interesting that you think Renee may have been someone's love slave, as that is what her mothers' intuition has told her from the beginning. You said in your career you've seen some really sick stuff. Have you ever seen a corpse that sat in the sun for 7 weeks, was visible from the road if you were looking, could not be smelled until the day it was found, and BIRDS NEVER TOUCHED IT? I have long admired the work of Tobin Brinker. Supporting him in his role as a board of education member, he has been a tireless advocate for our students and families. He has also worked bipartisanly among Republicans and Democrats (and is the only candidate in this race with a proven track record of working bipartisanly to get things done).
